Tennessee Farmers Co-op seeks items for Co-op Auction Barn

The Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Foundation (TFCF) is proud to announce the ninth annual Co-op Auction Barn — which will take place virtually Nov. 17-30 — and the Co-op community is invited to donate items to list.

Created in 2016, the Co-op Auction Barn is held in conjunction with the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative (TFC) Annual Meeting with proceeds going to Tennessee’s 4-H and FFA programs. The TFCF goal is to raise $100,000 this year.

TFCF is asking for your help in finding and donating items to be included in the auction. Specifically, we are seeking distinctive pieces that will inspire spirited bidding, such as vintage Co-op memorabilia or Tennessee crafts. TFC will celebrate its 80th anniversary at the 2025 annual meeting, and we encourage donations that reflect this rich history.

Popular items from past auctions have included hunting and fishing trips, resort stays, commemorative 4-H and FFA knives, farm hardware products and more. Donated items are tax deductible, and TFCF will provide documentation for your records.

TFC needs commitment for items by August 15, and all items donated need to be received by Monday, September 29, to Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Foundation, 180 Old Nashville Hwy., La Vergne, TN 37086, with attention to Claire Hill.

“We are excited to provide additional support to 4-H and FFA through the Co-op Auction Barn,” says Hill. “The auction is a convenient way for the Co-op community to donate and support these deserving programs.”
